History
Pinterest’s Predicts 2026 report presented Poetcore through roomy high-neck knits, older-looking jackets and satchel bags. Lucy Maguire’s January 2026 Vogue menswear forecast also discussed the label alongside flowing shirts, cords and messenger bags. Both are dated trend forecasts, rather than evidence that one fixed outfit or a single founder defines the style.
What defines the look
Ivory at the face makes the darker lower layers easier to read. The rollneck should fold softly rather than stand as a rigid tube, and the dropped shoulder gives the knit a relaxed outline. Keep its body plain so the ribbing remains a small edge detail. Chocolate cord adds a second texture beneath it, with broad legs that fall from the hip and lightly meet the shoes. The satchel gives the soft clothes a firm rectangular accent. Oxblood joins the warm brown shoes while the small silver buckles add a little light.
