Soft-Sculpted Abaya
Soft-Sculpted Abaya uses fluid outer layers with gentle gathers, draped volume or a softly defined waist. The fabric moves around the body instead of holding a rigid outline. May 2024 Istanbul fashion-week coverage identified softly shaped cupro designs by Zems. The maker’s contemporary open abaya and draped dress provide specific construction references for exploring that direction through light gathering, fluid layers and a flexible waist.
What defines the look
