Everyday Hanbok adapts the crossing lines and generous skirt shapes of Korean dress for ordinary plans. Shortened hems, lighter tops and practical layering create room to move. This skirt-based version pairs an ivory cotton jeogori with a plain navy wrap skirt and low black pumps.
Everyday Hanbok is an established contemporary category, not one fixed uniform. The 2024 period refers to reported adoption, while the illustrated garments are current maker examples. Fabrics vary: the selected top is cotton, but this reversible skirt is polyester.
History

What defines the look
Keep the diagonal front and tied fastening legible rather than reducing the look to any cropped blouse and full skirt. The top’s small collar, crossing panels and short wing sleeves carry that structure. Its skirt sits at the natural waist, making this silhouette distinct from a high ceremonial chima. The plain reverse also lets the folds speak without a large print. Hair & styling details
Long dark hair tied back with softly parted front strands keeps the front fastening visible.
