Fairy Kei brings soft toy-box colors into casual layers: a roomy lavender sweatshirt, a cloud of mint-and-pink tulle, lilac tights and low pink sneakers. Fluffy pink hair, a tulle bow and a shooting-star necklace make the pastel story visible from head to toe.

History
Tokyo Fashion’s May 2011 portrait of Moko shows pastel casual layers, a tutu, printed tights and playful accessories under the Fairy Kei name. In a separate 2011 interview, SPANK! founder Tavuchi discusses late-1980s and early-1990s pop culture while distinguishing her shop’s approach from Fairy Kei.
What defines the look
Softness comes from both color and shape. A sweatshirt gives the tulle an everyday top layer, while tights continue the color below the skirt instead of leaving the palette concentrated at the waist. The star necklace should sit visibly on the plain fleece. A removable skirt bow can move the same tulle colors into the hair; here the included clip is worn above one temple. Keep the sneaker sole low so the gathered skirt, rather than the footwear, supplies the main volume. Compared with the denser accessory layering of Decora, this outfit gives a few larger pastel shapes room to read.
Hair & styling details
Long fluffy pink waves, soft bangs and two loose upper bunches create a toy-like silhouette without hiding the face. Place the included tulle bow to one side and leave the necklace clear.
Soft lilac lids, a fine upper lashline, high rose-pink cheeks and a light pink lip echo the clothes. Gentle lower-eye highlights keep the face fresh beneath the large pastel hair shape.
