Decora builds a personal Harajuku coordination through abundant decoration: crowded hair clips, layered necklaces, decorated wrists, contrasting patterns and strong color. The complete arrangement matters. In this look, pink hair and bright accessories surround a mint-and-chocolate dress, with broad stripes carrying the color down to pink shoes.
This is an original colorful Decora coordination assembled from eight documented item types. Its density and color placement draw on observed street styling; individual wearers develop many different silhouettes and palettes.
History
FRUiTS founder Shoichi Aoki describes elaborate Decora as street fashion with a history behind each wearer’s choices in his TOKION interview. Tokyo Fashion’s November 2016 portrait of Horuzo provides a specific documented example: a colorful dress and over-knee hosiery combined with clips, necklaces, bracelets, rings and platforms. These firsthand accounts place the coordination within Harajuku street culture without assigning it one founder or mandatory brand.
What defines the look
Decoration can connect the whole body rather than stopping at one novelty accessory. The illustrated clips spread across the fringe and temples; two large bows enlarge the hair silhouette. A shorter pale chain sits above a bright logo plaque, and paired bow cuffs echo the hair at both wrists. The printed dress supplies a stable mint ground while pink stripes and shoes repeat the hair color. This arrangement leaves the face, hands and garment shapes readable within the abundance. The dress is by The Decora Factory, with print art credited to Yumiyumyum Illustrations; its combination with other makers is original to this guide. The selected accessories also include a RinRin Doll collaboration. Credit those makers when identifying the pieces, and build a coordination from colors and objects that mean something to you.
Hair & styling details
Straight pink twin tails and a blunt fringe create a clear surface for the clips. The larger bows sit above the ears; the small clips spread across the upper fringe and sides, leaving the eyes unobstructed.
Cyan eye color and rosy cheeks connect the face to the candy palette. Small painted stars beside the eyes repeat yellow and pink without adding another physical accessory. Keep the face visible within the surrounding decoration.
