Nu Metalcore combines nu-metal band graphics with the volume of skate and sports clothing. Loose tees, very wide shorts or jeans, visible socks and padded shoes give the outfit a low, substantial outline. Bright green works as clearly as black when the silhouette and music reference remain strong.

History
Nu-metal became prominent in the 1990s, with Korn among its influential bands. In Sam Law's Kerrang! interview, Jonathan Davis traces his sportswear choices to Run-DMC and hip-hop. The account also describes skate clothing, jerseys and darker theatrical looks among different bands, explaining the scene's varied silhouettes.
What defines the look
The hip-hop connection is part of the clothing history. In a later interview reported by Loudwire, Davis again connects his tracksuits with B-boy style and Run-DMC. The illustrated outfit takes the roomy shorts and skate-shoe route, using a current official KoRn tee as its music reference. Proportion does most of the work: a loose short sleeve, an untucked hem, broad shorts below the knees and substantial low shoes. White socks break the dark lower silhouette into readable sections. Pieces to start with
- A loose band tee
- Choose enough shoulder and torso room for an easy drape. An untucked hem near the hip keeps the large graphic visible without covering most of the shorts. Keep the collar close enough that it holds its shape.
- Long wide denim shorts
- Look for an inseam that reaches around or below the knee and a wide leg opening. Firm denim makes the width distinct. The selected pair uses plain black panels and contrast stitching; extra cargo pockets would create a different design.
- Plain crew socks
