Cluttercore

Background
Architectural Digest’s 2022 account describes interiors arranged around personal objects and layered visual interest. The clothing interpretation here carries that idea into pattern, texture and color rather than claiming a separate historical fashion movement.
What defines the look
Start with two patterns that behave differently: broad flower shapes and fine regular stripes stay distinguishable when layered. Lucy & Yak’s Juniper campaign already demonstrates a floral cardigan over a striped top; this outfit changes the stripe colors, trousers and shoes. Repeat blue between the upper layers, then let the berry trousers create a separate block of color. Fine cord channels add texture without a third printed pattern. Leave the cardigan open so its green buttons and the stripe panel remain visible. The result should look intentionally assembled even when the colors are plentiful.
Hair & styling details
Long copper waves and an airy fringe add movement around the face. Keep most lengths behind the open cardigan so both clothing patterns remain visible.
