Yami Kawaii brings cute colors and characters together with darker or uneasy imagery. In this outfit, pink and cyan printed toys share space with medical symbols, black frills and rose lower-eye makeup. The graphic contrast, hairstyle and expression work together rather than leaving the clothing as a generic pastel look.
This original coordination uses four documented products, including an ACDC RAG Menhera-chan collaboration. The illustration interprets their printed artwork; it is not a facsimile of the licensed graphics.
History
A 2018 PARK collaboration announcement identifies Bisuko Ezaki’s Menhera-chan as a prominent Yami Kawaii character, places its emergence in 2013 and documents black-and-pink apparel for Harajuku retail. In a separate 2018 Asia Pacific Arts interview, Ezaki discusses mixing cute presentation with difficult subjects and describes his styling as gender free. These firsthand and primary accounts establish a particular artist’s contribution without assigning every use of the label to one origin.
What defines the look
The relationship between sweetness and unease is carried by specific details: stitched cartoon rabbits, illustrated medicine, cross-centered bows, soft pink against black. The character’s long dark hair, lavender inner panels and concentrated lower-eye color echo that tension without acting out an injury. The selected clothes credit ACDC RAG and the licensed character collaboration; the original figure and pose are separate from the product models. Keep the graphic scale readable: the loose tee provides space for the stitched characters, while the shorter skirt tiers display smaller medical drawings. A continuous dark leg separates those two patterned garments from the repeated pink of the shoes. Rose lower-eye color and lavender hair panels bring the palette back to the face.
Hair & styling details
Long straight black hair, a blunt fringe and narrow lavender inner panels frame the face. The colored panels stay close to the cheeks while the longer dark lengths fall clear of the main tee graphic.
Concentrate rose shading below the lashes and define the upper lash line with a gently lowered outer end. Fine separated lashes and a softly tinted berry lip finish the look. The sketch uses makeup and expression, with no injury marks on the person.

Pieces to start with
- A character-print tee
- A loose tee gives the central illustration room. The selected design places pink and cyan stitched rabbits around Menhera-chan, with smaller medical motifs. Tuck the hem without hiding the main characters, and keep hair mostly to the sides.
